A conference on the journalistic representations of poverty, entitled “Reporting Poverty: Media Conference”, is looking for paper proposals. The one-day event will take place on May 5th 2017 in Liverpool, United Kingdom. The conference is free of charge.
The conference organisers suggest the following themes:
- Construction of identity
- Social Justice
- Digital division
- Media as political and social discourse
Paper abstracts of at most 300 words are due on February 10th 2017. Acceptees will be notified in two weeks after the deadline.
