A one-day conference entitled “Provincial Newspapers: Lessons from History” is looking for paper proposals. The conference will take place on the 8th of September 2017 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
The event organisers welcome a wide range of topics relating to provincial newspapers, from their history to possible futures, from financial aspects to community roles. Suitable papers will be considered for an edited book, expected to be published by Routledge.
Paper proposals must be submitted by June 1st, and acceptees will be notified two weeks later.
