The International Symposium on Media Innovations 2018 is calling for paper proposals. The event will be hosted by the University of Oslo, in Norway, on the 31st of August and 1st of September.
The symposium is open to both media professionals and scholars. The event deals broadly with media innovation, but the theme of this year’s event is “Media Innovations and Good Lives”. The organisers have provided the following (non-exhaustive) list of possible topics:
- Media innovation and good lives
- Media innovation and social transformation
- Media innovation and ethical design
- Media innovation and sustainable futures
Extended abstracts should be submitted by the end of May, and acceptance notifications will be sent in June. Full papers are due on August 10.
