CFP | 3.5. | Media in the media

A conference entitled “Mediating Cultural Work: Texts, Objects and Politics” is looking for paper and panel proposals. The conference is organised by the Research Institute for Cultural and Media Economies, part of the University of Leicester. The event will take place in Leicester, UK, between the 6th and 8th of September 2017.

The broad theme of the conference is the mediation of cultural work, which encompasses -among others- media work. The theme is divided into four subtopics:

  • Policies and Programmes
  • Texts and Representations
  • Objects and Practices
  • Agency and Action

Both paper and panel proposals are due by May 3rd, and acceptance decisions are expected in “mid-May”.
