New issue of NORDICOMs Media Trends in the Nordic countries newsletter is out now. It provides a collection of news about recent media developments based on reports from a number of Nordic media use surveys.

According to the latest newsletter media use is becoming increasingly fragmented. TV viewing in the Nordic region is also rather stable, but differences between groups are increasing. Radio listening is stable.

Basic pattern is that the older generations watch more traditional TV and listen more to the radio than the younger ones. On the other hand the younger ones watch more on-demand television and listen more to podcast, on-demand radio and online music services than the elderly do.
