Paul Bradshaw, course leader in Online Journalism at the Birmingham City University told JRN about his research into source protection in local news organisations. In the UK, many local outlets and journalists are unaware current surveillance practices and ignore security measures that are needed. Bradshaw also sheds light on his current research interest: making data journalism easier.
