Yesterday’s most prolific tweeter: Dr. Vilma Luoma-aho (@vilmaluo) with a total of 30 messages chronicling the conference’s proceedings. With a total of 26 forwards, most retweeted ECREA-goer was Dr. Alex Bruns (@snurb_dot_info) by virtue of dutifully live-blogging from the event and promoting the blog through Twitter.

Most retweeted message without an outgoing link was Bente Kalsnes’ (@benteka) quoting of yesterday’s second keynote speaker, Dr. Tristan Mattelart: “web has been described as a tool of empowerment – magic instrument for escaping mainstream media”. Yet Mattelart was left behind in total mentions by first keynote speaker, Dr. Natalie Fenton, who was mentioned some sixty-odd times as opposed to Mattelart’s thirty-three.
