RISJ and Columbia University Press are launching a new book series called Reuters Institute Global Journalism Series. Publishing will start in 2017. The focus of the book series is on journalism internationally and it provides a platform for international and comparative work on journalism.

While many of the changes in journalism are similar across the world,  their consequences are very different. The book series aims to open the similarities and differences in how journalism in different contexts deal for example with changing forms of government, global economy and communication technologies.
