The Academic Mindtrek Conference is still open for paper, poster, workshop and demonstration proposals. The event will take place in Tampere, Finland, from the 17th to the 19th of October this year.
The conference is an academic take on the 20-year-old Mindtrek business conference. The event features a multitude of themes, one of which is entitled “New forms of journalism and media”. Of particular interest within this theme are augmented reality, omni-directional video, and immersive storytelling.
The deadline for full papers and other presentation proposals is on the 27th of June, and acceptees will be notified on the 19th of August.
