With some ten months to go, call for papers has been published for the Future of Journalism -conference in Cardiff. The theme of next autumn’s event is “Risks, threats and opportunities”. Papers are being called on a wide front under the following subcategories:

Journalism and Social Media
Journalists at Risk
Journalism Under Surveillance
Journalism and the Fifth Estate
Journalism’s Values

Submission for conference papers are expected by January 9th. Further information is available here. The event will be hosted, as usual, by Cardiff School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies in association with the publishing house Taylor & Francis.
