A conference on the interrelation of politics and media is looking for contributions. The event, titled “Media and politics: Discourses, cultures, and practices” will be held in Milano, on the 27th and 28th of May. The deadline for abstract submissions is on the 20th of March.
The call for paper details three proposed topic areas: “language of politics in the global media”, “cultural or public policies conveyed through the media” and “media policies”. The organizing committee has announced three plenary speakers: Geert Jacobs, of Ghent University, Eric Sangar, of King’s College London, and Jing Wu, of Peking University.
