A new book edited by Einar Thorsen, Daniel Jackson, Heather Savigny and Jenny Alexander takes a look at media, politics and power. The focus is on citizens at the margins: how they are empowered or disempowered by the media.

The book wades through issues such as citizen and extremist voices, the role of media policy and media coverage on issues related to marginal issues.
