The new issue of Communication & Society is now available. The current issue includes nine research articles in the field of communication and journalism.

Anna Mateu and Martí Domínguez, of University of Valencia, study opinion articles published in the Valencian newspapers, in order to analyze the evolution of the environmental discourse in Spanish society from the dictatorship to the first years of democracy.

Niina Sormanen, Epp Lauk and Turo Uskali, all of University of Jyväskylä, explore the potential of Facebook’s ad hoc groups in Finland to enhance networked citizens’ communicative power for raising societally important issues to public agenda and initiate changes in society.
