The second iteration of the annual Press/Politics conference, arranged by the titular International Journal of Press/Politics, is now looking for article propositions. The event itself will be held at the University of Oxford between the 28th and 30th of September 2016.
The conference has not announced a binding theme, but examples given of topical interests include the effects of changes in media to politics, and the relationship between media and political actors in general. The keynote lecture, titled “Internationalising political communication research: epistemological aspects, normative aspects, and journalistic practices”, will be delivered by Katrin Voltmer, of the University of Leeds.
Paper abstracts are due on March 25th, and accepted authors will be notified by April 29th. Full papers must be submitted by August 26th.
The full call for papers is available on the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism (RISJ) website.
