A two-day symposium in Newcastle University, UK, is looking for papers. The event, titled Discourses of Disorder -Representations of Riots, Strikes & Protests focuses on increasingly frequent acts of civil disorder and social movements and their representations. The organisers are particulary interested in papers from Media and Journalism Studies, Social Movement Studies and Critical Discourse Studies.

Abstracts of up to 400 words should be submitted by 31^st May 2015.
