The Society for Phenomenology and Media’s 19th annual conference is now accepting paper abstracts and panel proposals. The event will be held between the 15thand 17th of March 2017 at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium.
The conference theme is “Living in the Anthropocene”, and as the Society’s full name suggests, it is looking for especially phenomenological takes on the subject. The anthropocenic underlining to this year’s conference refers to the fact that humankind has become the most influential shaper and mover on our planet.
Both the panel proposals and the 200-word paper abstracts are due on October 30th.
The full call for papers is available on the Society’s website.
