A symposium on European media cultures during the Cold War is looking for paper submissions. The event will take place in Minneapolis-Saint Paul, USA, on the 30th of March and the 1st of April of 2017.
The full title of the symposium is “Remapping European Media Cultures during the Cold War: Networks, Encounters, Exchanges”. It is interested in the flux of media content and practices across Europe, in-between and peripheral regions, and the study of thereof. According to the organizers, examinations of obscure or marginal media is “particularly welcome”.
Paper abstracts are due on the 15th of November 2016. Acceptees will be notified by the 5th of December.
