The 40th anniversary conference of the International Association for Media and History (IAMHIST) is now accepting paper abstracts and panel proposals. The conference will take place between the 10th and 13th of July 2017 in Paris, France.
The conference theme is “Media and history: crime, violence and justice”. The organizers emphasise welcoming a wide variety of topics and approaches “in order to receive diverse and critical proposals dealing with this broad topic”. In addition to papers within the aforementioned boundaries, the organizers are open to panel proposals on “international approaches to media history” in specific.
Both paper abstracts and panel proposals are due on December 15th. Acceptees will be notified by February 15th.
Further information of the conference is available on the IAMHIST website, here.
