The Challenging Media Landscapes Conference 2016, titled “Access, Participation and the Mediatised World”, is now looking for paper and panel proposals. The event will be held in Manchester, United Kingdom, on the 14th and the 15th of Novermber this year. The conference is a part of the larger Salford Media Festival.
The conference is interested in the ways and availability of access to different forms and parts of the mediatized world. Among proposed paper themes is also “Journalism (encompassing citizen journalism; literary journalism, and journalism as a participative practice)”.
Both paper abstracts and panel proposals are due on the 29th of June (extended deadline), and acceptees will be notified by the 12th of July.
