The 2018 Asian Congress for Media and Communication (ACMC) is calling for paper proposals. The event will take place in Taipei, Taiwan, between the 27th and 29th 2018.
The conference theme is “Examining the Socio-Political Economy of Communication”. The organisers have mentioned, among others, the following sub-themes:
- Globalization of the News Media
- Hashtag journalism and other alternative forms
- Mainstream and Alternative Media
- The New Gatekeepers
Paper abstracts must be delivered by March 15th 2018. Authors of accepted papers will be notified within 60 days of the submission, and full papers are due on July 15th.
