A conference entitled “The Mediatization of Time: New perspectives on media, data and temporality” is calling for paper proposals. The event will take place in Bremen, Germany, on the 7th and 8th of December 2017.
The conference is interested in how the changing media environment, especially through digitalization and datafication, is changing the way we experience time and temporality. The organisers have suggested the following themes (items truncated), but submissions are not limited to them:
- Transformativity of mediatization processes
- Temporality and mediation of time
- Memory and the rearrangement of the tenses
Paper abstracts must be submitted by September 1st, and acceptees will be notified by September 15th.
