50 Years in Agenda Setting Research: Past and Future Perspectives Conference is now accepting paper proposals. The event is organised by the College of Media, Communication and Information at the University of Colorado Boulder to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the original agenda setting study.
The three-day event takes place on July 18th—21st, 2018 and it focuses on past, present, and future applications of the theory.
Areas of interest include, but are not limited to: need for orientation, network agenda setting, agenda building and agendamelding. New media applications of agenda setting, such as studies of fake news and computational propaganda, are also encouraged.
