In Negotiating politicians’ responsibilities in news interviews, conversation analysis was applied on 27 news interviews of Ministers from 1970s and 2000s. Three common forms of questionings were studied.
The recent article was written by Mats Ekström, Monika Djerf-Pierre and Nicklas Håkansson of the University of Gothenburg and Bengt Johansson of Lund University. The paper shows how questionings vary by different types, how they reproduce expectations of governmental interventions and how questionings have changed over time.
